Storm is Brewing

The sky darkens,
wind picks up,
birds scatter,
little critters take cover,
all anticipating the rain,
     rumble,
     rumble,
dog barks,
     darker,
     darker,
people go indoors
     drip
     drip
          pour.

One never knows, there were 3 funnel clouds not far away, about a week ago.

It is pouring again, with an awesome thunderstorm rumbling.

I wish it would rain here. It's going to be horrendously hot here this week. In the 100's they say.
